Get About Ltd (in formation) is a travel technology and data company registered in England and Wales. We build location-based activity tools for the hospitality industry and operate at getabout.co and play.getabout.co.
References to "Get About", "we", "us", and "our" in these terms refer to Get About Ltd (in formation).

Get About provides the following products to hostels and their guests:
All products are delivered via web browser at play.getabout.co. No app download is required for guests or staff. The host management dashboard is available at getabout.co.
Hostel managers create an account at getabout.co to access the Get About platform. By creating an account you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
Get About is currently in a free beta period. When paid subscriptions are introduced, pricing will be communicated clearly in advance. The indicative pricing model is £1 per bed per month. No payment will be taken without explicit agreement.

Get About reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used inappropriately.
Important — please read before participating in any Get About activity. All Get About activities take place in public spaces and involve physical movement. By participating you acknowledge and accept the following.
Guests participate in all Get About activities entirely at their own risk. By joining any Get About game, tour, or run you confirm that:
Get About is not responsible for and expressly excludes liability for any injury, loss, accident, damage, or harm of any kind arising from participation in any Get About activity. This includes but is not limited to personal injury, property damage, and third party claims.
The hostel facilitating the activity is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from guest participation in Get About activities.
By tapping "Start" on any Get About activity screen you confirm you have read and agreed to these terms.
Get About uses GPS technology to determine your location during activities. GPS accuracy can vary depending on your device, network conditions, and physical environment. We cannot guarantee perfect accuracy at all times.
If GPS fails during an activity, manual check-in options may be available. These are provided for convenience and do not affect your safety obligations.
Location data collected during activities is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share individual location data with third parties. Aggregated and anonymised location data may be used for platform improvement and data products as described in our Privacy Policy.
Get About uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to assist hostel managers in generating facts for tour stops. AI-generated content is provided for convenience only.
Get About does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated facts. Hostel managers are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use. Guests should treat all tour facts as interesting context rather than authoritative information.
Get About expressly disclaims all liability for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
This clause is important. Please read it carefully.
Get About collects data as a natural byproduct of guests and staff using our products. This data — including GPS movement patterns, check-in records, session durations, social connection data, and completion rates — forms a proprietary dataset that is central to Get About's business.
Get About Ltd retains full ownership of all aggregated and anonymised data collected through the platform. This includes the right to use, analyse, license, and commercialise aggregated anonymised data for platform improvement, benchmarking, research, and commercial data products. No individual guest or hostel is identifiable in any data we share externally.
Hostel managers retain ownership of their own account data, route presets, and tour content. Guests retain the right to request deletion of their personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
By using Get About, both hostel managers and guests agree to Get About's right to collect, process, and use data as described in these terms and our Privacy Policy.
All Get About software, branding, design, copy, and technology is owned by Get About Ltd (in formation). The Get About name, wordmark, and product names (Urban Race, Guided Tours, Run Club, Self-Guided Tour) are protected by trademark registration in the EU and UK.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Get About intellectual property without our explicit written consent.
Hostel managers retain ownership of the tour content and route data they create on the platform. By uploading or creating content on Get About you grant us a licence to display, store, and process that content for the purpose of delivering our services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get About Ltd (in formation) shall not be liable for:
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Get About in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
You agree not to use Get About products to:
Get About reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
Get About may update these terms from time to time. We will notify hostel managers of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Get About products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
