Get About: Urban Race

The city race that runs itself.

Guests scan a QR at reception, pair into teams with strangers, race to GPS checkpoints around the city, and meet at the finish for a drink. You set it up once. It runs every night on autopilot.

How it works
Three steps. Then it runs itself.

You

Build your game

Drop pins on Google Maps. Name each checkpoint. Set a finish line. Schedule a start time. Done. Takes about five minutes the first time — 60 seconds after that using a saved preset.

Guests

Scan and join

Print the QR code and stick it at reception. Scan QR at reception → join screen opens in their mobile browser — no download needed. Enter a name, and they're in the lobby.

03
Everyone

Race and meet

Teams race to checkpoints in a randomised order — so everyone isn't crowding the same spot. First team to the finish wins. Strangers become teammates. Teammates become friends.

Key features
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

Progressive checkpoints

Only the current checkpoint is shown. No spoilers. No shortcuts.

Auto-pairing

Solo travellers get paired automatically. No awkward "does anyone want to team up" moments.

Scheduled start

Set a time. The game starts itself. You don't even need to be at the desk.

No download needed

Guests play in their mobile browser. Scan, join, race. That's it.

Live dashboard

Watch teams race in real time from your phone while you manage the front desk.

Reusable routes

Build your route once. Run it every night. Your best spots, forever.

Thought of everything
We've thought of the awkward stuff too.

Player joins late

Set a join window. Late arrivals jump straight to the map — no waiting room.

Teammate leaves mid-game

Their partner gets notified and can choose to keep playing solo.

Another team wins

Still-racing teams see a banner with two options: keep racing for your own time or head to the finish.

No partner found

Players get automatically paired when the game starts — no one gets left out.
